Blog #2 Electric Boogaloo
I am excited to blog again.
This week I am going to talk about what is going on in my class. Last week, we looked through a bunch of different websites to help with out classes and I found a lot of really good resources, but not nearly as much as this week. This week, we look at apps more and they ended up being very insightful.
I love science a lot but often times there are not very many resources when it comes to building our lesson plans. Often, the lessons have to come straight from us because there is not much of a focus on science in education nowadays. Some of these apps have really helped though. I’m gonna add a few that I found that really surprised me in a good way:
1. Complete Biology
2. Pocket Physics Formula
3. Pocket
Of these three, Pocket is probably my favorite one that I have found so far. I am going to use that to have my students save some articles that we look over in my classroom. They will hopefully be able to save us a lot of time and paper from the printer. Also they can download the apps and add it into a note app on their iPads. Thank goodness my class is one to one.
I don’t really have anyone reading this blog but please feel free to throw any other science teacher tips my way as to lesson planning and new resources. Thanks and see you next time!!
